Great wine produced from Barbera grapes harvested in the Municipality of Monforte d'Alba, from tufaceous and clay-limestone soils. In the vineyard the agronomic philosophy is "natural" without any official certification: we do not practice either weeding or chemical fertilizers, the vigor of the plant is not pushed and the vintage is indulged and accompanied until the harvest. The harvest is manual; in the cellar cement tanks are used for fermentation, the same occurs only with indigenous yeasts and the pumping over twice a day. The refinement takes place in large Slavonian oak barrels for 42 months, followed by a further period of glass rest before being marketed.
